"The NHL's Rookie of the Month"

One Month Deep into the 2009-2010 NHL season a Ranger rookie impresses. Defensemen Michael Del Zotto of the NY Rangers out scored all rookies with a 12 paoint start. Four goals and eight assists in only 14 games played. 19 year old Del Zotto was the youngest Ranger to dress in eighteen years since Dave Maloney did it in 1974 as an eighteen year old. Del Zotto was the Rangers first round choice in the 2008 entry draft 20th over all.
